My Purrsonality Wins Me a Home
On one of Mom’s many trips to the vet, she spotted a very cute 9-month-old feline in the display cage. That was me! My name then was “Addison Clark” for the two streets where I had been hanging around. Mom rechristened me Spatz when I arrived home. After observing me for a short time, Mom expanded my name to Rascal Spatz. I wonder why….
My Purrsonality Causes Some Problems
Mom says that I have grown into quite a large boy. I am also fearless and a bit aggressive at times. Even my curiosity can come across to my feline housemates like a possible attack. Gobblin’ Goopuss (now OTRB), Tortie Toes, and Pearl Grey learned to stand up to me. Dusty RoseNose avoids me. Charlie (OTRB) from upstairs used to give me a hiss and the brush-off.
Sometimes I wonder if Mom regrets giving me the name “Rascal Spatz.” Fun for me is annoying Mom by rushing into her bedroom (where I have been known to terrorize Jenise) or out into the hall, so she has to haul me back to where I belong. I also love visitors, especially Grandma from upstairs; I give her lots of (often unwanted) attention on her occasional visits to my domain. The one visitor I am not fond of is Hanz “da Bronze.” Although I know Mom wants to integrate him with the rest of us, I really hate how he rushes to attack me.
